The Magic Paintbrush

One rainy afternoon, a girl named Yara was exploring her grandmother's attic. She loved searching through the old boxes and dusty shelves. Suddenly, she noticed a wooden box hidden behind some books. Inside the box, she found a beautiful paintbrush with golden hair and a silver handle.

Yara took the paintbrush downstairs and decided to paint a picture of an apple. As soon as she finished, something incredible happened. The painted apple jumped off the paper and landed in her hand. It was real! She bit into it, and it tasted sweeter than any apple she had ever eaten.

"If this brush can make anything real," she thought, "I could become rich!" She painted gold coins, jewels, and a fancy car. They all came to life. But strangely, she did not feel happy.

That evening, Yara saw a stray cat shivering in the rain outside. She quickly painted a warm blanket and a bowl of milk. The cat purred with joy. Then she painted shoes for a barefoot child she had seen at the park, and a wheelchair for an old man who needed one.

Suddenly, the brush began to glow brightly. A soft voice whispered, "You have used me wisely. Magic should help others, not yourself."

The next morning, the paintbrush was gone, but Yara had learned something important. If she had a chance to help people, she would always take it. Real happiness, she realized, comes from kindness, not from gold.
