Every summer, Lila visited her grandmother's old country house. The garden behind the house was wide and beautiful, with apple trees and yellow sunflowers. But this year, Lila discovered something new.
One quiet afternoon, while she was chasing a butterfly, Lila noticed a small wooden door hidden behind thick green ivy. The door was old and rusty. Carefully, she pushed it open. It made a soft creak.
Inside, Lila saw a small secret garden. Pink and purple flowers grew everywhere. A tiny stone fountain stood in the middle, and bright orange fish swam in the clear water. A wooden bench sat under a cherry tree. Soft sunlight came through the leaves like golden threads.
Lila ran back to the house and asked her grandmother about the garden. Grandma smiled warmly. "That was your grandfather's garden. He built it many years ago for me. After he passed away, I locked the door because it made me too sad."
Lila held her grandmother's hand. "Grandma, the garden is too beautiful to be hidden. Can we take care of it together?"
Tears filled her grandmother's eyes, but they were happy tears. Every day after that, Lila and Grandma worked in the garden. They watered the flowers, fed the fish, and planted new seeds.
By the end of summer, the garden looked even more beautiful than before. It was no longer a secret. It was a special place full of love and memories.
